"Go without a coat when it's cold; find out what cold is. Go hungry; keep your existence lean. Wear away the fat, get down to the lean tissue and see what it's all about. The only time you define your character is when you go without. In times of hardship, you find out what you're made of and what you're capable of. If you're never tested, you'll never define your character."

- Henry Rollins

This quote gave me a new perspective on things. It is probably one of the strongest thinfs I've ever read. Yes, he may be extremely opinionated, and yes, some of those opinions may be a little far sided, but I think he's got some good things to say.

This quote changed my life, simple as that.

5 more days, then it really hits home.................

Another quote that seems to ring true to me more and more every day:

"It's sad when someone you know becomes someone you knew."

- Henry Rollins

And then there were 4.................

Something pretty substantial is happening with the band right now, and I'll give you a hint:

There are now only 3 remaining founding members.

Suck...............

Stay tuned for the end of the world.

Oh the aftermath........ [Dec. 27th, 2005|01:29 pm]
Weekend Tour = Awesome
Christmas = Amazing
Girlfriend = Perfect
No School for 2 weeks = Unexplainable

Our weekend tour to Cinci, Louisville and Indy went good, I just hate moving equipment in the cold because then every time you hit yourself with something it hurts more. I need a personal roadie, anyone up for the job??? Pay sucks and it's hard work sometimes, but the benefits and awesome, like living in a van for weeks and drinking lots and lots of cheap beer. Must like driving at night and have a immunity to the smell of Paul's farts. Deadly.

Christmas was awesome. I got alot of cool shit; like dvd's (Tales from the Crypt Season 1&2, Johnny Cash live, Simpsons Season 7&8, Aqua Teen 3&4, ect) some cd's (Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, Bob Marley, Trans Siberian Orchestra) some shirts (Nightmare before christmas, Nightmare on Elm Street, Johnny Cash) and some sweet ass dress clothes (pinstriped pants and shit) for my "new" more styling mostly-black-dress-clothes look for work. Amber got me a stand for all my guitars and a Devil's Rejects poster, she rocks, which brings me to my next point..........

My girlfriend is amazing. As I sit here at work she is at my house re-arranging my room. I guess she got sick of seeing the same old shit every time she came over, can't wait to get home and see what she did.

Also, I don't want ot go back to school.

IMPORTANT:
Can anyone hook me up with some advice on where to get a good laptop computer or notebook and what is the best one out there????

Hook me up G!!!!!!!!!!!!

Till next time,
Love you all

P.S. - Kat is leaving soon for Chicago..................I am really going to miss her more than I think she knows.

It's not worth it to have anything nice nowadays.................

Last night someone stole EVERYTHING out of my brother's car; stereo, amp, sub, everything.

It sucks, and this is the third time someone has stolen something out of a car parked in front of my house, not to mention having windows broken and my stepdad's truck spraypainted a few years ago.

What the fuck is happening to downriver, how come I didn't notice that I live in the fucking ghetto???

I swear I wish I would have walked outside while these cocksuckers were taking my bro's shit last night.

I haven't been in a good fight in a while, and I feel like a million bucks from working out so much lately.

P.S. - 15 down, 40 more to go.

Had a good weekend with my girl, now I won't see her for almost 2 weeks.........damn my busy life. Speaking of which, it's gotten even more busy somehow. I now get up at 5:15 every morning, go work out at the "Y" until 7:00, go to work, then school, then practice. I finally get home about 11:30 at night. Yep, I am nuts, you are right.

I have less than 1 year left till I graduate with a Civil Engineering degree.

That still seems so far away

Yes, I am still alive.............

Life has been nothing less that hectic for the last few months, with work, school and practice I can hardly find time for other things.

This last weekend was amazing, Cedar Point and Halloweekends on Saturday was nothing less than amazing, it really put me in the Halloween spirit. It was awesome hangin out with my girl, Noel, Nikkil, Dean and Jessica. I miss Dean, wish he'd come around more. It wasn't super scary, but the atmosphere was just incredible, I wish it was like that all the time.

Speaking of Halloween, can we please have one this year!?!?!?! The last few years it's been lame, nothing like my childhood. Honestly, it is my favorite holiday and I've been deeply dissapointed over the last few. Lets step it up this year, alright????

In other news, I've lost a bunch of weight and am still going, and I can thank eating less and DRINKING less for it. I only drink beer about once every week or two, and it's working like crazy. I love this.

I miss you all, and I'm sorry for being so half-assed on this thing.

Rock and roll.

P.S. - I'm teaching myself the piano, and I'm actually pretty good.

System of a Down show last night was AMAZING.........

Daron Malakian is one of the best musicians/performers I've EVER seen.

Does anyone know how to help my band how to get famous, that's all I want.

Weeekend was good, spent alot of time doing nothing.

Found both Pomegranates and Starfruit, they are so damn expensive, but you can only get them for 2 months out of the year, so I can justify spending the money.

Curb Your Enthusiasm is the funniest show on TV.

Fall is in the air, I already had my first bonfire and broke out the Hoodies.

I can't wait for Halloween.
